FAQS: What happens at a Tribe Meeting?

Dads and kids who are members of the same tribe (age and gender specific) meet as a group. The intent of every meeting is mission statement for CVNSND — Create Memories Together.

The possibilities of a tribe meeting are only limited by your imagination and can range from doing a craft, playing a game of kickball, going to a sporting event, going on a hike, or watching a movie together as a group. Ideally tribe meetings take place once per month. However, this is just a guideline, not a requirement. Tribe meetings are in addition to the other various longhouse events, which are scheduled throughout the year.

Each tribe meeting is generally organized by one member of that tribe. The organizer will generally make the necessary arrangements for activities, food and communication so that it all comes together.
